I hope that you are keeping well as we run down to the end of the fishing season.

I hardly need to tell you that it has been a very wet month and also a very windy month, we lost a lot of days on Loch Stack and Loch More due to high winds.

1342 Brown Trout were entered into the fishing log, with a superb fish of 3lb to Karen Hodgson, which in now on pole position to win the Molly Quaish for 2010.

152 Seatrout/Finnock were caught and returned, including a few in the 3lb bracket.

80 Salmon were booked with only 7 killed,( over 80% returned).

Our Salmon season closes today, Saturday 2nd October and our Brown Trout season ends in a few days, 6th October.
